Well hello there and welcome to Slym, we are a bunch of blokes from Newcastle upon tyne and we are as they say musicians. Slym was made from the frustrations of Chris not being able to play his songs live, Paul frustration of knowing he can play guitar and Ian just wanting to be in a band. The likely lads got together with another drunkered in Paul Anderson who drumed for us for a bit. As a 4 piece we came with structures and melodies. After a rehersal with a broken bass amp Paul played chris's guitar and a whole new dynamic within the band was born. So we thought! After a 3 day bender Paul Anderson had a near life experience with a golf machine and broke his finger. We needed to find a drummer fast..Step forward Mr DeX the hardest drummer in the drummers world Slym made there giging start at a charity event in August at Killingworth Club along with the Tw@z, Covered Tracks and Raw Sewage. A great gig a great night but what next for Slym i hear you ask, Slym recorded and helped mix "The" a 5 song short EP. We played together for the best night at the plough and to be honest it was awsome! The best in years! what next for the the boys? As Jimmy Rabbit sait Gurrillas is spelt with a U Slym will gig again but only when the iron is hot and we were warming it up. . With another 27 new songs thats us up to 57 ready to be unleashed onto the world.... We are Slym. Always Rocking!!!
