Biography
Guitar and Synthisist (vintage Korg MS20's analog sequecers etc) with a rock foundation. Also a painter, (peter-west-artist.co.uk) for me these two aspects of art go hand in hand. Currently working on a follow-up to the (6 tracks, 24mins in total) Thisjuncture ep, whitch will be a full album, that's full of fullness with improved execution/devotion. And some other people to work with, and to bounce-off/on of.

A mesmerising EP which is perfect for listening to on a late summer night. It evokes memories of the great rock bands of the early 70's but with an original edge and haunting resonances. All Peter's songs are his own writing, and although he cites a number of influences this EP seems to take those influences as starting points for new journies and further explorations. What's more the links to his web site take you to his paintings, providing an added dimension when you look at his art and listen to his music. The whole effect carries quite a sublime synchronicity. Anyone with an interest in guitar rock should listen to this, and the full album should be a great expectation.

both intrumental songs are a good rounded 4 mins which are satisfying in length. Not overly done, simple crisp sound. The raw guitar sound against a backdrop of perfectly timed, synth noises are pleasant. very easy on the ears. Track one: Red Moon. sonically "moon" takes you on a ghostly ride through the atmosphere. A sound sexy enough for lovers to chill too. Track 2 : Owdoo: this track is the opposite sound of "moon" "Owdoo" Is faster and harder guitar string pounding. Something you will hear in a pool hall while chatting with your mates late at night. Both in my opinon are orignal sounds and for me quite refreshing to hear since in USA most songs done by unsigned artists are usually copies of stuff already done by other artists.
